Looks like a win to me.

Solution to Alameda County fair gun show ban?

A 12-year battle over gun shows at the Alameda County fair took a new twist Monday when a county lawyer told a federal appeals court that gun sales would be allowed if the weapon were secured to a table - and a gun-rights advocate reluctantly agreed that the idea was a possible solution.

H/T to David.

A win? Mebbe.

But I'm thinking whatever the dealers do to secure the weapons is nev-ver going to be quite "good enough" to make the grade.

And this includes using discarded aircraft carrier anchor chain.

Agreed, but I can't see a court having a problem with restrictions of this sort.
