That's Easy

I don't buy Levi's anyway. Too expensive. Now that they are confirmed gun bigots, I have one more reason to avoid their product. If you give aid and comfort to my enemy, you are my enemy.

Live by the gun...

In Florida, an armed robber met his match when he pulled out his gun in a convenience store. The clerk pulled out his gun and shot him dead.

.22 Trumps Knife

Two thugs attempted to rob a 27 year old man by use of a knife. The man had a .22 caliber pistol and opened fire hitting at least one. According to the news story, he wasn't sure he had hit anyone until police reported one apprehended when he arrived at the local hospital with a gunshot wound.

Angeleyes by Michael Z. Williamson

It is the latest in his Freehold series and another of the battle for Grainne's freedom from Earth. I liked it. not as much as Freehold or The Weapon. There seemed to be an emotional distance in the prose until the last few pages. It wasn't until then that I felt anything for the lead character, but that's me. you may read it and see it differently. I do recommend it and all the others in the series, and I do look forward to Mike's next book.

Makes Sense to Me

On November 18, the Pentagon issued a Defense Department directive that will “allow Department of Defense (D0D) personnel to carry firearms and employ deadly force while performing official duties.”

Secretary of Defense Robert Work approved the directive.

Military.com reports that the directive “also provides detailed guidance to the services for permitting soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines and Coast Guard personnel to carry privately owned firearms on DoD property.” It authorizes “commanders, 05 and above…[to] grant permission to DoD personnel requesting to carry a privately owned firearm (concealed or open carry) on DoD property for a personal protection purpose not related to performance of an official duty or status.”

He may not be your President,...

...but he is THE President and deserving of a minimum of respect.

'cuz they'll be blood in the streets.

The New York Daily News has a problem with Trump and the NRA pushing National Reciprocity on Concealed Carry, because there'll be blood in the streets. Those may issue states, that only issue permits to the politically affluent, will have to honor the permits issued to us rednecks in flyover country if we visit New York. There will be blood in the streets, except you gun bigots always make this claim, and it never bears fruit. Ever. Hasn't since the trend of "Shall Issue" got started in Florida in 1987. It isn't gonna happen now. So stop lying while we're asking nicely...please.

Quote of the Day

I've got to say: if you're trying to make a case against Trump via trying to reverse the election by mob rule, by threats of violence against electors, and by openly planning an insurrection -- er, "disruption"?

Then you're making one hell of a good case that Trump is less of a threat to democracy than his opponents. - Charlie Martin

I'd kinda figured Trump was a one term President. Now, I'm not so sure. If the whiners are the guys who select Trump's opponent in 2020, he'll be so far to the Left even Trump can win a second term.

It has been an extremely long day.

There's plenty going on in Trump world, and the snowflakes are still being flaky. Four police officers were shot over the weekend. At least two of those were ambush shootings. Thankfully, all the shooters are either dead or in custody. Plenty more going on to comment on, but I'm tired and going to bed. Tomorrow I'll be back at it.

It Works

NASA says so.
After months of speculation and leaked documents, NASA's long-awaited EM Drive paper has finally been peer-reviewed and published. And it shows that the 'impossible' propulsion system really does appear to work.
They don't know why, but it does.

Negligent Discharge Outside a Raleigh Gun Show

Fortunately, it appears the injury was minor. Local reports described the wound as a graze. The victim was on her feet when EMS arrived.

Will America Now Have a Pravda?

It already does. They're called, the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS and others who are part of the main stream media. They shilled for Obama and Hillary and now they decided they will refocus on real journalism with Trump as the target. What is sillier is they think we are blind to it.

Grasping at Straws

Anti-Trump Protesters Post Personal Information Of Electoral College Members
More accurate is they they posted the personal information of the "Republican" Electoral College members so the whining children of the Left and Hollywood, but I repeat myself, can harass said Electors in an attempt to get them to cast their vote for Hillary instead of Trump. Sounds like a way to piss off a lot of Electors and insure they vote for Trump. Much like the whining, screaming, crying, holding of breath, and general tantrums of these children are making those of us that voted for Trump holding our nose, glad we did.

Shadow of Victory by David Weber

What Can I say? It's David Weber. It rehashes material from previous books for about the first third but from different perspectives. Also, Honor Harrington has stepped to the sidelines so other characters could move to the forefront. That's fine with me. It's every bit as good as the previous novels, and I look forward to the next.

Hillary Clinton Blames F.B.I. Director for Election Loss
Hillary is responsibly for Hillary losing. She was utterly unlikable in every respect. Her dishonestly and corruption were plain to see. Only hard core Democrats, the dead, and pardoned felons voted for her. Well OK. maybe it's a coincidence that Hillary won by 60,0000 votes in Virginia and McAuliffe pardoned 60,000 felons. The Democrats keeping ignoring the obvious. They lost the election themselves with no one else to blame.

Custer and Crockett by Gregory Urbach

I read Urbach's Custer at the Alamo some months back and liked it. It a time travel/alternate reality story where Custer and the 7th Cavalry are transported from the Little Big Horn to San Antonio in 1836. They defeat Santa Anna's forces and change history. This novel completes the story. I liked it better than the first. It is well done. You get a different view, and I think, truthful view of Custer than what is currently popular. The story flows well. I would like to see more in this genre by Urbach. It's not an expensive book and worth the chance if you've not read any of his other novels.
