I liked it, but I can see where they paired it down to get the PG-13 rating. I should have been an R. Netflix is a streaming platform. The contraints of the theatrical format shouldn't hold a director back.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I still say the series should have ended with the Last Crusade. I won't say whether it was better than Crystal Skull. I'll have to mull on that one for a while. I'm a sucker for time travel movies. Not awlful just not special and at least they decided not to kill him off and replace him with HER. Like I said, I'll mull it over a bit.

Dixon's books are top notch. Hope the movie is as well. I expect some bad publicity over Dixon being a conservative author and the Left intentional inability to understand the word "fiction" and Niven's Law.

There is a technical, literary term for those who mistake the opinions and beliefs of characters in a novel for those of the author. The term is 'idiot'.

In Hong Kong, John Woo made classic action films. When he headed East he was hit and miss. A couple of really good films with most simply okay. We'll see with this one. The trailer looks fantastic.

Babylon 5: The Road Home

I miss Babylon 5. I loved that show. Star Trek didn't even come close to me. No uptopia. It was a future world that looked lived in were the society was actually dirty, scuffy, and recognizable. Babylon %: The Road Home covers many of the themes in the series. If you were a fan you will enjoy this. If you weren't I don't care. The story is fine. The animation top notch. The voices of those still with us make me hurt for those we have lost. This is a nice wrap up. I don't want to see a new series. I miss the old.
