ABC ran an anti-gun special tonight.

Having seen the sort of journalism muckraking crap Diane Sawyer practices in regard to firearms ownership, I didn't watch it. Dana Loesch did.

Do you get that feeling that the GOP...

...is once again going to prove themselves "the stupid party".
Why Gun Owners Should Oppose 8 Million New Anti-gun Voters

Don’t Do It

I'm of the opinion that if you enter the country illegally you haven't earned shit but a one way ticket back to the border you crossed. I understand how that isn't practical. I do. I also understand that if the Democrats are pushing for something it is not in the best interest of the Right and last I heard the GOP is still leaning Right. If y'all can't see that then you are "the stupid party".

One hundred and fifty-nine years ago today...

...John Moses Browning was born. He passed on in 1926 one hundred and twenty-eight gun patents later. If you are a gun owner most likely you have something he designed or that's descended from what he thought up. Be thankful. I am.

That explains so much.

The Kill List - Frederick Forsyth

The Spencer books are her Ukiah Oregon series. I read them back to back. that should give you some clue as to how good I thought they were. Ms. Spencer a fifth would be nice.

Forsyth is always a good read, but maybe just not quite up to his usual with this one. Still, it is worth reading.

Maybe just another example of it but...

...the New York Times credibility fell victim to their politics long before Benghazi.

Kindle #5

I'm now on Kindle #5. That's five in about three years. My first Kindle fell off the arm of the couch. That's about a two foot drop. It was less than two months old so Amazon replaced it. Kindle #2 lasted until last October. It slipped off the top of a box I was carrying while descending a flight of stairs. That was maybe a three foot drop. Screen broke. I bought another one at full price then a friend sold me his old one for twenty bucks. I stashed the new one as a spare and used the older one. That one got run over by several cars. Never forget tablets on top of your car. That one was my fault. Number 4 went last week. I tripped and dropped it. Screen broke. I got it's replacement in the mail today. Amazon covered it.

Now this post isn't really intended to bitch about the quality of the Kindle though I do wish they were a bit lot sturdier. I carry mine with me damn near everywhere. Accidents are bound to happen, and no, I'm not a klutz. Also Amazon has been great about replacing those under warranty [two]. Customer Service is top notch, but this gets old. I had a leather covers for the tablet. Obviously, they weren't been up to the task. I went looking for a hard case and I can't find one for the standard Kindle. As many of these things as have been sold you'd think the market was there. So any non smart-ass suggestions?
