This is obscene.

Act of Valor

That was a hell of a ride, and one of the best action films I've seen in quite a while.

To those that criticized the acting of the Navy SEAL leads, pound sand. For active duty Navy SEALS they did a damn good job if only because it's not in them to do any less.

Veterans Day

The photograph was in my Mom's photo album. She doesn't remember who they were other than friends of my father, and Dad is gone. It was taken at Camp Rucker Alabama around 1942 or 1943. Mom had gone down to visit before Dad went overseas. It's an appropriate photo for today. Thank you Veterans for your service.

The cartoon is by John Cox.

Good Stuff.

Ha! I found my copy of Bill Mauldin's Army I thought I had loaned it out to a friend who in turn failed to return it. Imagine my delight...

I spent most of the day...

...working a football game the outcome of which I really couldn’t have cared less about. The pluses were I got to see the Golden Knights do their thing and a C-130 do a fly over and I got paid. Neat.

X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle

It looks like the Air Force isn't waiting on NASA and what comes after the soon to be ended shuttle program.
