The bottom line: The number of ballots impacted by discrepancies far exceeds Biden’s margin of victory in the state. Both sides of this debate will claim the report validates their position, but in truth, without proper vetting of the impacted ballots, we’ll never know if the election results were legitimate.

Last week, as I’m sure you’re aware, moments after assuring the country that the vaccines he and millions of others have taken are “incredibly effective,” President Biden said, “We must now protect the vaccinated workers from the unvaccinated workers.”

Wait…What?

You don’t have to be a scientist to hear a message like that and pose a couple of very reasonable queries. 1) If the vaccines are effective, why do the vaccinated need to be protected from the unvaccinated? And 2) If the vaccines are not effective, then why should the unvaccinated get one?

Obviously, no one wants to see our hospitals overwhelmed with unvaccinated COVID patients, including the President. I think we all agree on that. But the issue you have raised is one of trust, and if President Biden wants to be trusted, it seems to me that he should first trust the vaccines he’s demanding we all take. Alas, he doesn’t. Instead, our fully vaccinated President still supports a travel ban that keeps my vaccinated friends overseas from reentering the country. Why? He still wears a mask in public – even when he’s outdoors. Why? Last week, President Biden could have congratulated all vaccinated Americans for getting back to living their lives without fear. Instead, he got angry. He literally accused the unvaccinated of “standing in the way of protecting the large majority of Americans who have done their part and want to get back to life as normal.” In short, Joe Biden doesn’t appear to be living his life any differently than he did before getting vaccinated. Again, you don’t need to be a scientist see how fundamentally unpersuasive this is to 80 million people who are already skeptical.

I got the jab early on because I thought it was a good idea. The governments actions since have made me regret it every day. When you insist on treating adults as children, they push back. When the governments story changes every fucking day, people push back. When what they say makes not one bit of sense, people push back. Do as you are told has never worked wel in this country. I pray God it never does.

Trump also characterized the planned Sept. 18 rally at the U.S. Capitol as a “setup” meant to denigrate Republican voters regardless of what transpires.

“On Saturday, that’s a setup,” Trump said, referring to the rally. “If people don’t show up they’ll say, ‘Oh, it’s a lack of spirit.’ And if people do show up they’ll be harassed.”

...and if anything bad happens it will be the fault of Trump and his MAGA loving followers. I think the Democrats are still looking for their Reichstag fire moment. January 6 hasn't turned out as well as they wanted.

There aren't that many modern noir detective comics. Ms. TRee was one of the best. Max Allan Collins and Terry Beatty gave a monthly, more or less, dose for eighty issues of well written, violent, and topical crime comics. It is one of my favorites. The covers are pricey and generally beyond my means when they are available at all. So I approached the Fraim Brothers to do a recreation for me. As you can see they do good work. As for Ms. Tree, the original comics can be found on ebay and trade paperbacks collecting them, the first of which is One Mean Mother, at Amazon. All are highly recommeded.
