Anthony Head, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Actor, Dead at 72I liked that show and he was a hugh reason why. Seven-two is way too early to go in this day and age. Rest in peace Giles.

I Hope They Don't Screw It Up
I'm a Grimm fan. I'm on my third run through the series. I'd love to see the original cast return for the further adventures of Grimm. If they're not up for it neither am I. A continuation would be great. A "reboot" or reimagining not so much. The original creators and producers are involved so that's a good sign. We'll see.

An Example of Why I Don't Watch Cop Shows...
...or much of anything else from Hollywood.
CBS Cop Show: 'White Domestic Terrorists' Angry at Taxes, Gas Prices & Property RightsThe producers and writers hate me and don't want my business. I could go with "GET Woke, Go Broke" but this is more spout the deep states bullshit and loose a customer. They aren't bright enough to have their own agenda. They just regurgitate the Democrats'.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
According to Captain Pike, MAGA started WW3. About what you'd expect from current Star Trek. The show itself? It's better than anything else Kutzman has put out, but is it worth paying for Paramount+? Your call. I'll pass.

No High Hopes on this One
Firefly Reboot Reportedly Moving Forward At Disney PlusI can not imagine a Firefly without Joss Whedon and the original cast. Without them it ain't Firefly and will only be a disappointment. Yes I know Whedon os a douche. No argument from me, but firefly was that collection of people and disparate elements that came together and can't be replicated. The Mouse just needs to pass on this.

That Was Fun While it Lasted
I'm not a big Stars Wars fan. I liked the original trilogy and am old enough to have waited in really long lines to see The Empire Stikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The rest with two exceptions I could take or leave. I hated the Last Jedi. I thought Rogue One was a really good film. The came The Mandalorian. Two solid seasons with a magnificent second season finale. One of the reasons I really liked the show was Gina Carano and now Disney has fired her because of the Twitter mob. So fuck Disney, fuck Lucasfilm, and fuck the Mandalorian. If she isn't on the show, I won't watch it or anything else produced by Disney. I suspect I won't be the only one. I have backlog of books to read and that's probably better for me.

Mira Furlan, Rest in Peace
Damn, Damn, Damn.
Mira Furlan, ‘Babylon 5’ and ‘Lost’ Actress, Dies at 65Babylon 5 was among the best of Science fiction shows. I loved that show and never missed it. I go back and rewatch it periodically. It's that good. Mira Furlan helped make it so. She will be missed.

Not Really Enthusiastic About this Firefly Reboot
Exclusive: Firefly Reboot Coming To Disney+Joss Whedon hit gold with Firefly. It wasn't a hit but that was Fox making damn sure it failed. Episodes shown out of order and all over the place. They d idn't have faith in it and so it failed. But Whedon and the cast meshed perfectly. Every episode was spot on. My opinion, perfect. Even if Whedon was involved I'm not sure he could hit paydirt twice. Also the cast have moved on and they were part off the magic. Then there is Disney track record with Star Wars. Oh and they want family friendly. Firefly wasn't realyy a kids show. It had a dark edge I don't think Disney would be able or want to repeat. They might surprise me but I think I'll just take a pass.

Robert Conrad, R. I. P.
Robert Conrad, star of 'The Wild, Wild West,' dies at 84I loved The Wild, Wild West when I was a kid and watched it over and over again in syndication. Later I focused on the first season as those that followed were a bit too campy. About ten years ago I borrowed a friends DVD set of the series and tried to watch it. Some things it seems are best left to your childhood memories. That does not mean Robert Conrad whom I watched in numerous shows and movies over the years and always enjoyed. Eighty-four years is a good run. Rest in peace Jim West.

Outlander: New Season Coming Soon
I'm hooked on the original novels and the show is a damn fine adaption of them. Read the books and watch the show.
