So much for the First Amendment...

After the Giffords shooting in Tucson, TJIC, a Massachusetts blogger, posted a comment to the effect of 1 down 538 to go. Under the circumstances that's a bit insentsitive, but it's not illegal, and I can't say the thought didn't momentarily cross my mind before the off switch kicked in. That pesky old First Amendment thing would seem to apply in this case, but his home town cops have suspended his firearm's license and have him under investigation. Let's see violate no law in the exercise of your First Amendment rights and have your Second Amendment rights stripped from you. Sound like horseshit to me. Borepatch has more here.
