Legion [2010]

The mailman dropped off Legion day before yesterday and I watched it last night. The plot has the angel Michael defying God and coming to earth to save the child that will lead humanity from the apocalypse. God has had it with us humans and pulls the plug but God realizes his mistake when Michael gives his life for the child. Most of the action takes place in a diner in the middle of nowhere. Michael steals enough hardware from an arms dealer fight the good fight. Lots of gun play against possessed human/zombies. Ho hum. It’s watchable but definitely not special. Actually you’d be better served watching The Prophecy with Christopher Walken or Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13.

Oh, and the movies irksome moment: let’s see, young guy with 1911 has to explain to older father figure guy why he carries a gun and can’t really explain himself. How ‘bout cuz I want to and because I had it I was able to save your ass when I offed the evil ceiling crawling granny with pointed teeth by popping off three rounds center mass. Ha!
