The Miami Herald
reports that a convenience store clerk in Pembroke Pines shooting two armed men during an armed robbery. They came in and ordered everyone on the floor. He gave them the $300 from the register, but they wanted what was in the safe. He drew his .45 and shot one in the arm and one in the leg. Based on the story it looks like he also blew out his front window and killed his cash register to the tune of about $1000. He fired a total of five rounds. It's fortunate that everyone else was already on the floor. The two twits are in custody and no charges against the clerk are planned.
The clerk is quoted as saying...
"It's sad. Nobody wants to shoot anyone."
Somehow I don't think he meant it the way I took it.
