Mike Beard of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence has this New Year's resolution.

Let us make one more New Year's resolution: to have a heck of a lot of fun pushing the Obama administration, the new Congress and our state legislators to seek creative solutions to the tired old problem of gun violence. It is our duty as citizens. Happy New era!

Here's my somewhat simplistic but, I think creative, solution to gun violence. Get a gun. As long as good people have guns and display a willingness to use them, bad people with guns won't be a problem...for long. There Mike, that's my solution to "the tired old problem of gun violence."
