I think I know what I'm doing tomorrow afternoon.

NBC has never been one to let facts...

...get in the way of their bullshit.
NBC Manufacturing New Attack on Remington

I knew there was something I liked about that girl.

Jennifer Lawrence: 'Screw PETA!'

Russian Fuckwittery

Looks like the Soviets Russians are taking a hard line on self-defense. A businessman defended his family against four gun toting home invaders with a knife. He killed three. He's been charged with murder.

Spent the weekend...

...dealing with the middle daughter's drama. I find this gem from over at Borepatch's especially appropriate.

Yep.

My guess is that he's not contributing enough...

...to their campaigns.
Congress isn’t listening to Bloomberg

Haywire

I liked the fight scenes. Gina Carano knows her stuff and Steven Soderbergh frames the action so you can actually see what she's doing. Tatum and Fassbinder at least look like they know what they're doing as she kicks their asses but Ewan McGregor fights like he's in a cat fight. The plot is standard revenge flick. The name actors all do their jobs well. Carano does OK. With experience I think she will get more comfortable with more than kicking ass.

Rick Santorum drops out...

...so it looks like the Republicans are gonna get stuck with Mitt Romney. Oh Joy! So who is the Libertarian Party running?

One hundred and forty-seven years ago today...

...Robert E. Lee surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia to Ulysses S. Grant at Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia.

Morbid and kinda cool...

Skeletons of certain cartoon characters.
