Now this is interesting.

Zimmerman girlfriend shopping interview for money prior to 911 call

George Zimmerman’s girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, who called 911 accusing Zimmerman of pointing a gun at her, has been shopping around for a national media interview for weeks, but none of the national media would pay her the money she was seeking.

If that doesn't offer a reasonable doubt as to the young "lady's" motives, nothing will.

Probably not the reaction Holder expected.

The DOJ has asked the Sanford Police Department to hold on to George Zimmerman's pistol since they are conducting a witch hunt, excuse me, investigation of Zimmerman for civil rights violations.

OK then.

In response, author Brad Thor has offered to buy him a pistol, a rifle, a shotgun, and as much ammo as he wants or needs.

A Florida Gun Shop in Volusia County has offered Zimmerman a free gun.

The Buckeye Firearms Association is collecting funds to buy him one and has asked gun owners to donate.

I'd be willing to donate if only to stick a figurative thumb in Eric Holder's eye. That's a cause I can get behind.

Crickets

Can you imagine Trayvon Martin using George Zimmerman's defense?: Jarvis DeBerry
Fortunately, I don't have to imagine it.
Jury Finds Roderick Scott Not Guilty

Scott says he acted in self defense when he confronted Cervini and two others saying they were stealing from neighbors cars. He told them he had a gun and ordered them to freeze and wait for police.

Scott says he shot Cervini twice when the victim charged toward him yelling he was going to get Scott.

Black man shoots white 17 year old in self-defense and is acquitted as he should have been.

So what does the media and haters have to say about that?

'bout what I thought. Crickets.

H/T to Glenn.

Now that's...dead on.

Of all the young black shooting victims in this country, you can name 1. Because you've been trained like a circus seal to bark on command. - Dave Burge

I hope he takes them to the cleaners.

George Zimmerman Sues NBC Over Edited 911 Tape
Probably not, but maybe he'll get at least enough to cover his legal fees for this, his criminal case, and the civil suits almost guaranteed to follow.

Update on the Trayvon Martin Amendment

The Democrats have withdrawn it. The alleged reason is procedural. It was improperly submitted. I think it had more to do with snowballs and Hell. Obama's ratings and the upcoming elections shouldn't be discounted either. I can imagine someone at Obama's campaign headquarters yelling, "Gun control! Before an Election? Are you out of your f$%king minds?" I know my answer.

House to vote on Trayvon amendment

This would penalize States that have "Stand Your Ground" laws by withholding grant money. According to its authors...
Shoot-first' laws have already cost too many lives. In Florida alone, deaths due to self-defense have tripled since the law was enacted. Federal money shouldn't be spent supporting states with laws that endanger their own people
If the deaths were from self-defense then the people endangered are the ones that need to be. This is only anti-gun Democrats using Martin's death to push their agenda. Call your Representatives and let's see if we can squash this thing.

Twenty years ago today...

...the Los Angles riots broke out when the police officer accused of beating Rodney King were found not guilty. Three days and fifty-three deaths later they ended. You decide if we'll have more of this to look forward to with the Zimmerman trial. I get the feeling that some news outlets hope we will. Be careful what you wish for.

Zimmerman Charged.

Now a jury gets to decide what happened.

Oh, who wants odds on whether Holder's Department of Justice charges him with civil rights violations?
