Fringe

I’ve gotten hooked on Fringe and am most of the way through the first season. I like it but had reason to question the wisdom of the characters. In episode 16 they’re going down into the sewers to find a BFM that’s already killed several people. They know it’s a BFM and they take handguns. Handguns? Seemed like need bigger gun territory to me. Like this. I understand the FBI have ordered a few. Then I noticed the old guy toting the Desert Eagle [caliber unknown] and I thought that might work, and of course it did [Hey its TV] Two rounds and the BFM is down. Wouldn't have been enough for me. Couple of magazines worth might have done the job...maybe.
