Black Powder War by Naomi Novik

The further adventures of Temeraire and her companion Laurence. This time they travel from China overland home to England. The quality is the same as the previous novels and I'd get right on the next one except I just picked up the new Stephen Hunter Swagger Clan novel and that, unfortunately for Mrs. Novik, trumps a dragon any day. The novel is highly recommended. Go at it.
