I've had this and the companion novel No One Will Hear You for a while now. Other books kept bumping it. I'm sorry I waited so long. The story follows a television personality and former sheriff in the search for the murderer of his family. It's stock Collins and stock Collins is damn good. The twist at the end worked, and although I didn't see it coming, it wasn't pulled out of the writer's ass. The clues were there if you paid attention. It's a good book and I'm looking forward to the sequel. Recommended.
