...Reduce Police numbers through hiring or policies than encourage officers to retire, tie their hands through policy and law and make it impossible for them to do their jobs, and this happens.

Yeah, I know. you almost have to mortgage your home to afford ammo these days, but it is an investment in your future safety. Lord knows if the police will be there to help you.
