Seriously?

Minor drug beef costs Army vet federal gun buy OK
An Army Vet can't buy a .22 rifle because of a misdemeanor marijuana conviction from 42 years ago. He hasn't been in any trouble since and served 20 years in the U. S. Army. That's silly for anyone. The fact he served in the military shouldn't even be an issue. No one should be permanently stripped of a civil right for a non-violent misdemeanor conviction. Once you've served your time and probation that should be it.

H/T to Jeff.
