NC: Hickory Shooting May Have Been Self-Defense

The text story is a bit misleading but the video makes it clear that a bad guy tried to enter a house with a shotgun to do crime and was, in turn, shot. The bad guy survived and the matter is under investigation by local police.

Terry Lee Atkins was shot in the chest and then went to two homes nearby looking for help.

Either the victim didn't have enough gun or he/she needs to spend more time at the range and tighten his/her group. In any event, his/her efforts were good enough and, for a short time at least, we have one less son of a bitch roaming the streets.
