At the Sign of Triumph by David Weber

This is the final volume of Weber's Safehold series. It is 758 pages long and reads like it. I usually pick up a Weber books and can't put it down until done. No problem putting this down. Lots of talk and not so much action. Now, that's not to say I didn't like it. I did, just not as much as the previous novels in the series. Weber did provide a satisfying ending to the series and if you've been following this tale you will be pleased as well. I look forward to Weber's next project whatever it is.

Apocalypse Dance by C. J. Carell

Third in Carell's Armageddon Girl series and every bit as good as the rest. It isn't the last in the series but it does wrap up the original story line.
