Cinder by Marissa Meyer is a young adult novel that was recommended by my daughter. So I read it. Some YA novels have attraction to all ages. I understand why my daughter liked it. Nice twist on the fairy tale. Not sure I'll follow up, but your pre-teen and teenage girls will love it.
