Who is going to want to buy an old stupid gun rather than a smart gun?

Me for one.

I'd rather have a stupid gun that does what I want it to do when I want it to, rather than a smart gun that may or may not work when I want it to. When police and military are mandated to use this new technology I still won't want it. The stupid is a feature not a bug.

Very much.

I keep remembering that line from one of the Star Trek movies, "The more complicated the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."
