Chicago's "violence tax" should work about as well...

...as any other method with which the gun control crowd has tried to curb "gun violence", which is to say not at all. Th epeople causing the gun violence, gangs and other criminals, aren't paying attention to the current gun laws anyway.

It's not about gun violence or crime reduction. It's about gun control and Chicago continuing their ban by other means.
