Max Payne

I watched Max Payne last night. The plot is an old standard. Payne's wife and child are murdered and he hunting the killers. The evil corporation, the homicidal Iraq war vet, and old buddy turning out to be the killer round it out. Sorry that ain't a spoiler. It's that freaking obvious. It does have lots of guns, shoot outs, and neat special effects. If you're looking for something original this ain't it, but it's not a total waste of time.

I did like Payne's back-up: its either a Taurus Model 4510 revolver chambered for .45/.410 with the 3" chamber or its brother with a 2.5" chamber. I thinks its the 3" but its hard to tell from the views in the movie. Anyway, I WANT one.
