Friday the 13th

Not that I'm supersitious or anything but sometimes it seems prudent to not push my luck. So much for being prudent. I've got the duty with the youngest ones today. At 12 and 8 it shouldn't be a problem. We're going to the bookstore of all bookstores. The Book Exchange is going out of business and selling books at ten dollars a grocery bag. This place has been around longer than I've been breathing. Even with one day to go they have tons of books left. A friend who runs a local used book store has made several trips to purchase fodder for his store. I think we'll find something to buy. I'll try to avoid disaster. Knock on wood.
