...before this summit even met. From what I saw the Republicans held their own but for naught. This was nothing but political theater. The Evil Trio [Obama, Pelosi, and Reid] are going to try their best to shove this down our throats despite the sure and certain knowledge it will bite them in the ass come election time. More to the point they probably want to shove it through because they know it's going to bite them in the ass.

I would like some health insurance reform. Every year my rates shoot up and I'm damn tired of it. But the solution is in the free market not government health care. Let consumers pick what they want or need in a health insurance policy. Reform tort law on medical malpractice, and get the States to remove restrictions on buying policies across State lines. That's where we need to start not with 2500 to 5000 pages of government regulations.
