12 year old arrested for doodling on desk

Twelve year old Alexa Gonzalez got arrested and handcuffed in NYC for doodling on her school desk with an erasable magic marker.

Seriously.

Then the school administrators admitted it should not have happened and the police admitted it should not have happened but the charges weren’t dropped and the child still had to have her day in court. In Family Court she was assigned eight hours of community service, a book report and an essay on what she learned from the experience.

That some adults have the brains of a gnat and the judgment of a twelve year old with a magic marker?
