My standard recommendation (assuming you want a really accurate AR) is to come down to Apex and get one from Bob at Templar.
They're not cheap, but they are really nice.

You can buy a stripped upper from Brownells for about $70.00 with the LE discount. If you do not have a LE account set up already you can do it on-line, or you can call them and have it done. Once you get the upper all you need to do is have the parts from your old upper switched to the new one. I know there are people you work with that have all the tools necessary. I hope the barrel you got from me is still running fine.
