Time for another house cleaning.

It looks like the Republicans are going to back down on the budget with reductions of $33B rather than the original $66B they were pushing. Both sums are drops in the bucket considering how much money is pissed away by the Fed annually. So w are they backing down? Is it that even after a historic victory in 2010, they're afraid of the Democrats controlling the narrative and putting the blame for a government shutdown in their lap. Is the tag "extreme" more frightening to them than pissing off the voters who put them in office, or is it, as Borepatch says, they really don't want to cut the budget after all. Borepatch has it right. The old timers are too comfortable with the power they wield in Washington to risk it. I'm tired of this shit. Aren't you?

Time for another house cleaning.

H/T to Borepatch.

In a word, yup.

Remember, the stupid party and the evil party are both led by the same group of people. By that, I mean the "elite." Based off of a lot of observation, I've concluded that a background at any of the Ivy League schools is effectively equivalent to the mark of the beast.
These people have far more loyalty to their group than to us. Why then are surprised when they betray us?

I've decided that if the Tea Party fails or is suborned, it'll be time to head for Galts gulch.
