The Fix Gun Checks Act of 2011

This bill would bar anyone who has been arrested for a drug crime within the last five years from owning a gun. Note the operative word is "arrested" not "convicted". A police officer arrests you for simple possession of marijuana and the charges are dropped because it was some other legal green plant matter? You're barred. This bit of fuckwittery has been brought to you by Senator Chuckie Schumer of New York.
