Tennessee has a new law that allows gun carry permit holders to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol unless the restaurant owner posts the property. I wish North Carolina would follow their example. A professor in Tennessee has set up a website, www.gunfreediningtennessee.org, that identifies which restaurants allow carry and which don’t. He figures if he lets people know which restaurants allow carry, people will avoid giving them custom. Whatever his intent, he‘s provided the residents of Tennessee with a tool to identify those restaurants whose owners have demonstrated they have no concern for customer safety by creating a gun free zone where people are barred from having the means to defend themselves. Nice of him isn’t it. Now Tenneessee gun owners have a perfect tool to help them detemine which restaurants to give their custom.
