Zero Tolerance expands...

In the People's Republic of California a 16 year old was expelled for having an unloaded shotgun secured in his truck. He had gone hunting with a friend before school. Standard zero tolerance bullshit, right? Except this kid's truck was parked off campus outside the jurisdiction of the school. The school officials offered several rationales for their decision. In the end it's still not school property so it's none of their damn business.

How on earth was it even discovered if it was off campus? Plus, if it was unloaded, how is that considered a weapon? An unloaded shotgun is as good as a baseball bat found in the Gym Lockeroom

Because in Commiefornia, it's the ee-bil firearm that counts, not the ammunition.
If however, there is suitable ammunition in the same zip code as the firearm, then the firearm owner is considered to be one step removed from a mass murderer.

Besides, the teener is considered state property during school hours.

They had dogs sniffing cars on and off campus and got a hit.
