GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra...crap

I have fond memories of Marvel's GI Joe comic book. Considering the source material was a toy line the writer Larry Hama worked wonders. The cartoons were crap and I never cared for them. Against my better judgement, I watched GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra the other day. Having read what others had to say about it I should have known better. Internationalist crap with no regard for the comics or for that matter the crappy cartoon. I did like the accelerator suits but only for the thought that now somebody could make a decent adaptation of Starship Troopers. That somebody would not be the pornographer who made the first one or the director of this mess. If you want to see a properly made GI Joe movie check out the animated GI Joe: Resolute. It tries for a more realistic approach and is geared more toward an older audience. I liked it.
