Huh?

I was listening to the radio this afternoon and heard the announcer say the venue of Loughner's trial was being shifted from Arizona to San Diego because pretrial publicity had tainted the jury pool and he couldn't get a fair trial. The Feds have since denied this rumor that was presented as fact, but at the time I thought as much coverage as the media has given this tragedy where the hell hasn't the jury pool been tainted by pretrial publicity...China?
