It's amazing what you find on the Internet.
Popehat linked to a Golden-age anti-communist comic called Is This Tomorrow. I was interested in trying to locate the name of the artist and went on a search. The comic was published by Catechetical Guild Comics, a company that published Catholic comic books, including Treasure Chest. The search took me to Golden Age Comics, a website that has, what they claim, are public domain comics available for download. There are comics like Crime Does Not Pay and Jack Cole's Plastic Man. They don't have complete runs but, hey, free comics.
