Dentist
The option was about $3000 to save the tooth [root canal, crown, gum surgery] or pull it. I'm sitting at home minus a molar and waiting for the Novocaine to wear off. That's OK I've got Vicodin waiting in the wings. Now if the tooth fairy will bring me enough to cover the copay....

Vicodin is good. When you have to do things that require you not to be out of it, swish some vodka around the affected area and it'll numb the area. I did that when I had two wisdom teeth pulled and it worked like a charm. And no, I did not swallow the vodka!
I swished some whiskey around the tooth and when it got in the cavity my head damn near exploded. If I hadn't bought the cheapest rotgut I could find for the swishing I would have swallowed it.

I was focused on...whiskey...pain...relief when I bought it. If I'd been thinking I'd have bought a bottle of cuervo for the pain and it's aftermath.
