TX: Carjacker in baggy pants shot by 74 year old

In Houston a 74 year old man got out of his car and was approached by a knife wielding, would be, carjacker. The 74 year old shot him twice. The wounded shootee fled into a neighbor's house to escape, found the only exit, the back door, locked, smashed the window and climbed through. The shootee's pants apparently caused a problem. They were too baggy and he couldn't hold them up and climb through the window at the same time. He left them in the house. I would think that kinda made him standout to the police prior to their arresting him. Note to potential scumbags robbers. Baggy pants minus tight belt might be a fashion faux pas for the would be robber.
