Rumors...

There is a rumor that Carolyn McCarthy and that staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, Harry Reid, have managed to slip a amendment banning high capacity magazines onto the FAA Reauthorization bill. I've always thought he was an opportunistic prick and it's not like our side doesn't do the same kind of thing. They must know it has a snowball's chance of passage on its own. At this point there is no evidence that the rumor is true, but I wouldn't put it past them. In any event, contact your representatives and ask them to oppose a high capacity magazine ban in whatever form it comes to light in.
