Wrong Ideas? No Guns for YouStates like California used "good cause" as a reason for denial of concealled carry permits until Bruen. Now the applicant has to show good moral character to qualify for that elusive permit in those states. There may be some differences in th e two but they share one commonality. Anti-Gun bureuacrats and politicians make the determination as to whether you have it. Its a matter of the state's opinion as to whether you derserve a permit. It would seem to me that both are equaly unconstitutional under Bruen but we'll have to go through years of court battles to have that clarified. And when we do, the bastards will find another excuse to deny their citizens a permit and the ability to defend themselves.
