NC Gun Roster Being Sold As Preventing Faulty Weapons
The California gun roster is nothing but pure gun control. It bans guns based on features that have no effect on the safety of the weapon unless you consider a functional firearm unsafe in and of itself. The sponsors of the North Carolina bill that seeks to adopt California's roster wholesale are trying to sell it as a measure to test firearms to make sure they are safe. It's not about safety, it's about incremental gun control. It's called being disingenuous. It's called lying, but that's okay as long as you are a Democrat pushing an agenda.

I recall a good many years ago there was an almost faddish effort to ban as "consumer protection" firearms that were "defective" because they were capable of shooting bullets, as designed. At that time, no such frivolous cases were actually heard ( well, to my memory, anyway ) as they were tossed immediately as-frivolous.
