It's takes place in one of these worlds where the supernatural and mundane exist side by side with the mundane mostly ignorant of the supernatural. It falls smack dab in the middle of the fantasy genre that Corriea and Butcher do so well. It is the first n a series. Small town overrun by demons and a mysterious stranger arrives to clean 'em out. The story is OK, but nothing new here. The characters are much the same. The presentation is above average. So, I liked it. I'll definitely pick up the sequel, but I got other things to read so it may be awhile.
