Update on SB226: Repeal 1935 Durham Firearms Act

I emailed my State Senator and was told that the bill has no opposition in the House. It sits in committee because the House won't vote on it until the Senate votes on SB315 and the Senate won't vote on SB315 until the House votes on SB515. Neither wants to go first.

They're playing legislative chicken.

SB315 is titled Roadside Campaign Signs and SB515 is titled Jordan Lake Water Quality Act.

Seriously?

Please make some calls and send some emails and see if we can shake this bill loose before the end of the session.
