Yeah. It was a "deliberate strategy" all right, ...

...but somehow I doubt "identifying the leaders of a major gun trafficking ring” was the actual goal. It was about gun control, and all the whoha to the contrary ain't gonna make it so.

Benghazigate: Chapter Two

An error in victim selection

In Wisconsin, an auto dealer was sitting in his car waiting for his uncle to return from a test drive. His five year old son was asleep in the passenger seat. Two evil gits walked up to the car. The one armed with a .45 demanded "all his stuff". After the victim had provided them with his "stuff", the unarmed evil git demanded the pistol from his companion so he could shoot their victim. At this point the victim pulled his .40 and reversed his car. He was shot in the elbow. He then opened fire on the evil gits. He exited the car to draw fire away from his son. In the end one evil git was dead and the other in custody. That's a good day's work.

It's Tourist Season.

He should have taken the hint.

In Indianapolis, a man was shot after breaking into his ex-girlfriend's apartment. She had a protective order against him since the last time he broke into her apartment. Which do you think had more effect on his behavior: The protective order or the gun with which he was shot? Here's a hint. He won't be breaking into her apartment any more. The gunshot was fatal.

They have such a wonderful track record in that area. I guess the Left has to get an early start on the "Obama lost because the mean old Right disenfranchised minorities" narrative.

Stop Touching It.

A list of many fails led to this death.

The officer off-duty and out of jurisdiction, left his service weapon in a toilet stall in a bar. he was in a bar, he didn't report the theft immediately to either the local police or his agency, a twit who found a gun in a toilet stall didn't turn it over to police immediately, another twit bought said gun from the first twit who had found said gun in a bar, another twit who having come from a bar was no doubt under the influence of alcohol managed to shoot and kill himself. Did I miss anything? Oh yeah, how the fuck do you forget your service weapon in a bar's toilet stall? Bar. Alcohol. Question answered. That police officer needs to looking for a new job.

Pre-teen shoots home invader

In Oklahoma, an evil git broke into a home and found a 12 year old girl inside. She had grabbed her mother's Glock. He got shot. What would have happened if the pistol had been locked up and inaccessible to the girl. Nothing good I suspect. As it stands, the nothing good happened to the evil git. He survived.

Rest in Peace Mongo.

Chicago's "violence tax" should work about as well... any other method with which the gun control crowd has tried to curb "gun violence", which is to say not at all. Th epeople causing the gun violence, gangs and other criminals, aren't paying attention to the current gun laws anyway.

It's not about gun violence or crime reduction. It's about gun control and Chicago continuing their ban by other means.

FL: Homeowner shoots home invaders

In Florida, a homeowner heard someone trying to get into his house. He opened the front door and at least three masked men rushed him. One of the men was armed. So was the homeowner. He opened fire hitting one of the worthless gits several times. The others fled. Homeowner - 1, Evil Gits - 0. Works for me.

A Heinlein Quote.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”
