Finger to Nose. Wiggle Fingers.
Republican Party to Tea Party Conservatives, “Shut Up and Give Us Your Money”So Karl, you've been doing your damnedest to depth charge conservative, non-establishment, Tea Partyish candidates, and your best has been pretty damned successful. Now your establishment GOP candidates aren't getting the donations they need to compete against the better funded Democrats, and you want our help. Right?

Gotta have priorities
My politics are right leaning Libertarian. At 16, my son is hard right conservative. He sent me these links this morning. They were Mitt Romney's and Barak Obama's first tweets of today.
Hey man, gotta have priorities.

Hollywood Liberals are such...
I mostly only go to genre films at the theater and for that reason as much as I like Clint Eastwood I usually wait for the DVD to be released. I think I'll go shell out nine bucks and see Trouble With the Curve when its released. Mr. Eastwood had the courage to stand up at the GOP convention and speak the truth as he saw it. The Hollywood mainstream seems intent on interpreting his speech with such terms as "bizarre, broadcast-for-the-masses moments" or "his divisive speech" or "fallout and embarrassment from what he did is probably punishment enough" and in doing so say much more about themselves than Mr. Eastwood. I really don't think Mr. Eastwood has a thing to worry about but I'll give him my support. I'll be nice to see Clint on the big screen for a change. The movie is scheduled for release on September 21st.

Thumb to nose, wiggle fingers
The draft language of the Democrats' 2012 platform — set for a final vote this week in Charlotte, N.C. — argues that current safeguards protecting the public against gun violence are insufficient and urges "an honest and open conversation about firearms."That would require that gun control advocates be honest and open. You aren't, so no.The document also calls for "reasonable regulation" governing guns, including laws banning assault weapons and requiring all gun sellers — not just licensed dealers — to perform background checks on potential buyers.

Big Money...
...from over at Big Lizard.
So... Mitt and Ann Romney are rich. The way that the mainstream media and leftie opinion outlets are trumpeting the fact, you'd think it was some huge secret -- or worse yet, a source of shame. What I'm wondering is, where were all these people when John Kerry was running for president back in 2004?

Machine Gun Social
Damn sure no waffling about the Second Amendment here.
H/T to David.
By adding $25 to D'Annunzio's campaign kitty, supporters got the opportunity to fire an Uzi or an MP-5 submachine gun.Tim D'Annunzio is running as a Republican in North Carolina's 8th Congressional District. The seat is currently held by Democrat Larry Kissel. Appears D'Annunzio might be worth a look.
