Obama To Unveil Gun Control Reforms In Near Future

Just how near? Carney would only say "not far in the future." Another administration official said weeks would be an appropriate measurement.

If he goes ahead with this prior to the 2012 election he either living in a dream world or he knows he's toast in the 2012 election. Well, it's not like most of us actually buy Obama's bullshit in regard to gun control or the Second Amendment, but it would be nice to have it out in the open for the 2012 election.

Update: Actually, the more I think on this the more pissed off I get, but it shouldn't really surprise any of us that Obama would ignore Congress and do what he damn well pleases anyway. He's already given us the example of Libya and ignoring the War Powers Act. Then there are his flock of czars to avoid Senate confirmations. All we can hope for is that once he commits political suicide by stepping firmly on that third rail he'll be a one term President and whoever replaces him will repair the damage and rescind his orders.
