So much for rule of law

The only way to effectively deal with certain strains of sex offenders [pedophiles, serial rapists] is a bullet in the head. They don’t believe what they’re doing is evil and without that honest acknowledgement they can’t be rehabilitated. The only alternative is to sentence them to life without parole but as long as they’re breathing there is always a chance they will one day get out. So my position here may seem contrarian. The Supreme Court just said the Feds can keep those sexual offenders sentenced to Federal prisons in custody even after their sentence is complete ex post facto as long as they see fit, and this without due process. At what point did expediency trump the Constitution? These scum, the sex offenders not the Justices, need to be taken out of society forever but we need to do it on the front end though the courts not at the whim of a bureaucrat. Also, who's to say the FED won't someday decide other crimes rate this treatment?

I saw this posted in several places but it was Joe Huffman’s post that pulled mine together for me.
