More on the knife ban
I added Knife Rights to my list of organisations on the left. The revocation of findings by Customs has the potential to ban any knife you can open with one hand. That would be any knife with a thumb nub for ease of opening. I carry a knife everywhere I carry a gun. It is not only a tool of self-defense but a tool. The ability to open and close it one-handed is indispensable when you're doing any kind of work with your hands. I also don't care to carry a fixed blade concealed because in North Carolina it is considered a concealed weapon whereas a folder is not. So call your representatives and see if we can get this stupidity aborted before it goes into effect.

I've used a one-handed piece for opening that bulk-toilet-paper. Without one-hand left on the toilet-paper, that large package containing multiple 9-packs can move around.
Those concealable fixed-blade knives often carry a lesser penalty than a one-handed opener, while often costing less. That left often does want assassination specific equipment substituted for usable tools, this is because an experienced killer can take the time needed to arrange all of the details needed to even make, deadly use of toilet paper.
