Unintended Consequences by John Ross

I read this book in the late 90's but hadn't felt the need to reread it. The book had a good story but dragged at times. Still does. Reviews on Amazon mostly complain that Ross could have used a good editor. I do agree but the technical bits that they complain about were what I liked best the second time around. It is long at 800+ pages. I do recommend it if you can find an affordable copy.
