Weapons of War
SAS hero with shotgun 'kills five ISIS fighters including two wearing suicide vests in just seven seconds during raid on jihadi bomb factory in Iraq'In the end, they are all weapons of war or have been. It isn't just your AR and AK they want. Pistols, revolvers, shotguns, muzzle loaders have been used in warfare. If we accept their argument that this makes the AR-15 unsuitable for civilian ownership we are already at the bottom of the slippery slope. It's just a matter of time.

Gun Registration's End Game
A California farmer tried to comply with California's firearms registration requirements and ended up charged with 12 felony counts. This is the intended end game for the laws. They criminalize legal activity and the law abiding are suddenly felons. If you are a gun owner in California/New Jersey/or New York with best thing to do is vote with your feet and take you guns elsewhere. At the least, follow Sebastian's advise and consult with your attorney before even considering complying with the law.

I Don't Think So
[Matthew] McConaughey asked his friends who are gun owners to “take one for the team” by giving up their “assault weapons.”I don't think so. We've been taking one for the team every time a worthless politician pushes a gun control law local, state, or federal AND it is never enough. It's always the next step down the slippery slope. Not just NO, Hell NO.

More on Bypassing the Electoral College
Every vote, everywhere, would be politically relevant and equal in presidential elections.
Bullshit! This would guarantee that those areas with the densest populations, metropolitan areas and the left coasts, DEM strongholds, dominated the popular vote and controlled the Presidency. It’s nothing but a power grab. This nation is a Constitutional Republic with checks and balances to prevent rule by popular vote. The Founders threw the popular vote its bone with the House of Representatives. The Senate and the Executive were not in the deal. Progressives have been working to convert the Republic into a democracy since before WW1. Direct election of Senators stripped the States of their representation in Congress and moved us further in that direction. This attack on the Electoral College is just another. The description of democracy as two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for dinner is old but true. Those supporting this trash think we’ll just sit still while they make our votes useless. They’re wrong.

Bypassing the Electoral College
Here’s another case of the DEMs subverting the intent of the Founders. It’s not like they have any respect for them after all they were all white guys and mostly slave owners. That allows Progressives to ignore that the system the Founders set up that has allowed the United States to grow into the most powerful nation in the world with a system of government that respects, mostly, the rights of its individual citizens. They gave us a nation that with the exception of that period of unpleasantness has managed to have a peaceful transition of power every four years since the Constitution was enacted. Four States have passed legislation that will give their electoral voted to whatever Presidential Candidate wins the popular vote regardless of whether that candidate wins the State’s popular vote. There is a movement to pass the legislation in other states. This is simple a way to change our electoral process without having to anything so inconvenient as amending the Constitution. It’s another attempt by the DEMs to rig the system in their favor. It's a power grab intended to ensure their are no further transitions of power. For the rest of us it’s another nail in the coffin of the Republic.

I don't need no stinking probable cause...
Slippery slopes: we got bunches of them. We’re pawing our way slowly back up the 2nd Amendment slippery slope although there are twits out there ready to stomp on our hands and start us sliding downward again. Another is the slippery slope of our 4th Amendment rights. With the Patriot Act and gems like this we’re sliding down the slope towards a police state so damn fast we got holes in our pants. The FED wants to give the FBI the right to access, not the contents of our email, but damn near everything else about it without a warrant. Pesky things those warrants. To get one you have to show probable cause and prove you have a need. As easy as that rubber stamp is for a Federal Agent to get before a National Security Judge, that’s still one hurdle to many for them to cross. Enough. I understand we’re at war and our enemies want to destroy our way of life. Why then are we giving them the easy win by tearing our Constitutional protections down in our efforts to get to the bad guys? It’s got to stop…now.
