This dimwits opinions aside, no one in Congress or the Senate who isn't blatantly partisan or had their own ethical failures shoved under a rug has a problem with this. None of the other Supreme court Justices have a problem with this. The people who do have a problem with it are pissed off a Conservative Court wont' do as they are told by the Left. They want a "liberal" majority so bad they will do anything to obtain it. Well, with a Republican majority in the House, i suspect it ain't gonna happen any more than a Democrat Majority in the Senate would find President Biden guilty of high crimes and misdermeanors, guilty of them or not.

Why are the Senate Republican negotiating anything? They can't hold an impeachment trail without GOP cooperation. He's out of office. It is unconstitutional to impeach a President once he out of office. All I can figure is the Republicans, like their Democrat counterparts, want to make certain Trump can't run for President again. Over seventy million people voted for Trump in 2020 election. I think that sounds like a good start on a third party.
